Over 100 million persons are affected by autoimmune disorders in the world. Significant scientific and medical advances have been made, but there are still numerous unmet medical needs.
In any country, patients suffering from any autoimmune disorders use over 1000 different drugs in their lifetime. Yet, only 1% of these drugs specifically treat their autoimmune disease. What is the effect of the 99% others on this disease? Are they good or bad? This remains largely unknown.
